| Senior Energy Engineer | Are you a self-starter excited at the prospect of building a new division within one of the fastest-growing green-building consultancies in the Bay Area? Do you have extensive Energy Audit and Modeling experience? EBS is currently looking to add a full-time Energy Engineer to its team who will take the lead on all of EBS’s energy auditing/modeling projects. Salary will be commensurate with experience with commission and bonus-based incentives. Responsibilities- Building and growing EBS’s Energy Engineering Division

Qualifications - Past experience performing energy audits and using energy simulation software
- Level 1, 2, and 3 audit experience
- Professional engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of industry experience with energy engineering
- Extensive retro commissioning/ASHRAE guidelines/codes experience
- Certified Energy Manager preferred
- Personable and social individual comfortable with client contact
- Comfort with autonomy from seniority

| LEED Consultant | Want to work for one of the fastest-growing green-building consultancies in the Bay Area? Do you excel in a small, yet fast-paced environment? Are you a self-starter? If so, EBS is looking to bring on a full-time LEED Consultant to join its LEED Project Management Group who is smart, driven, and, most importantly, has a passion for green building. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities- Taking the lead on and managing LEED-NC and LEED-CI projects
- Fielding questions both in person and over the phone from potential and current EBS clients
- Ability to efficiently and accurately analyze documents submitted by various design and construction teams
- Interacting with the USGBC on a regular basis for inquiries and reporting tasks as required
- Reviewing plans at various stages throughout the design process
- Flexibility with some travel to our Los Angeles office
Qualifications - LEED Accredited Professional
- 1-2 years of LEED consultation experience required (more is better)
- Background in architecture, engineering, or contracting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with autonomy from seniority
- Ability to digest, analyze, and present complex issues in straight-forward manner both in person and over the phone

| LEED Intern | Do you have a passion for green building and the environment? Are you interested in learning more about LEED Project Management, Sustainability Consulting, and Engineering Commissioning? If so, EBS is looking to bring on a summer intern to join its San Francisco office. While this internship will be unpaid, we would be willing to work with you on getting school credit for your internship. Responsibilities- Supporting our LEED Project Management Team with LEED credit analysis work
- Generating and maintaining new client leads for a variety of green-building initiatives
- Updating EBS’s blog with thoughtful and intelligent commentary about recent issues and trends in the green building space
- Generally being that go-to person in the office that can handle several project items at the same time without breaking a sweat
Qualifications - Having a demonstrated interest in sustainability practices, green building, and the environment
- Interested in pursing a career in the green building industry
- Desire to work in a small, yet fast-paced work environment
