Serrano Development Group

EBS is working with Serrano Development Group on the LEED EBOM Certification of their property located at 2800 Gateway Oaks in Sacramento California.We originally we asked by Serrano to propose on a mixed use development project in Walnut Creek California - a project that fell victim to the economy. Since that time, Serrano has found value in the technical capacity EBS provides for their sustainability projects throughout California.

Ghirardelli Square – JMA Ventures

EBS initially worked with Ghirardelli Square on a Waste Audit in an effort to refocus their sustainability mission and continue to operate profitably. Since that engagement over a year ago, they are now in compliance with California AB1103 legislation, are looking to implement Carbon Monoxide Demand Control Ventilation - the result of a financial analysis using our SFIA tool, and have reviewed their sustainability mission. Additionally together with Golden Gate Disposal we've managed to reduce expenses by several thousands of dollars and increase their diversion rate. - Our Sustainability Financial Impact Analysis for Demand Control Ventilation helped to save over $25,000 in projected 2010 capital expenses.

Los Angeles County

EBS was recently awarded the ESSMA Contract - ESSMA stands for Energy Efficiency Master Service Agreement. The scope of work begins with educational services to city and county employees. Over the 2010 summer months, EBS took approximately 75 employees through the LEED Green Associate Course followed by taking 25 employees through a specifically designed Existing Buildings course. The EB course has an emphasis on Life Cycle Costing Analyses and Valuation techniques for a greater commitment to Los Angeles County's building stock. EBS has also been approved to work with the county under the Retro-Commissioning Scope of Work.

San Francisco Department of Public Works

EBS was honored to be the selected LEED & Commissioning team for three of the six selected Prime Contractors of the SF DPW Service Request. During the next 3 years, EBS will be working with firms such as Baseline Environmental, ENGEO and the Department of Public Works on both LEED and Commissioning of their new and existing infrastructure.

Nibbi Brothers Construction

EBS has been working closely with Nibbi on several projects now and was most recently honored to join them on the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. The team which included Tom Eliot Fisch (EBS previously worked with TEF on the Presidio Historic Renovation) requested EBS' LEED Services after deciding late to pursue LEED Certification. We look forward to seeing this project become a success as our relationship with Nibbi continues to grow and evolve as well.

Divco West

Environmental Building Strategies is helping Divco West receive ENERGY STAR Certification for 101 Lincoln. 101 Lincoln is a six-story Class A office building totaling 105,200 rentable square feet situated on 4.5 acres in Foster City, California. The property is centrally located approximately 9 miles from San Francisco International Airport and 2.5 miles from the Highway 101 / 92 interchange in the Central San Mateo County submarket.

Environmental Building Strategies will be providing LEED Commissioning services for this South San Francisco client. Project Management Advisors brought EBS in to handle the Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning for LEED. Currently we are working to complete a design review of this LEED CI 2009 project.

Forum Design

Forum Design uses EBS for sustainability consulting on several of their mixed use commercial and multifamily residential projects in San Francisco. Warner recently recommended our team by saying, "without qualification I would recommend EBS as a positive addition to any environmental program which may need the services of a professional consultant with their expertise." iReuse

Environmental Building Strategies is a subcontractor to iReuse for sustainability consulting services specifically those focusing on LEED criteria. iReuse saw an opportunity to engage EBS after being intrigued by the LEED EDGE tool we developed and its compatibility with their internal waste, procurement, and energy monitoring/tracking tools. iReuse provides the following services: Energy, water, and waste monitoring, online tracking and reporting, sustainability consulting for GreenBiz Certification Program, and carbon emissions reduction programs.

Avanti Systems USA

Environmental Building Strategies conducted an on-site audit of Avanti Systems' products to verify their compliance with LEED Credit Criteria. EBS completed a full review of Avanti's partitions, hardware, and framing material as well as developed internal calculation tools to help their project teams realize the benefit of LEED Credit contributions.
