Literacy for Environmental Justice, a non-profit organization, is fueling this one of a kind project at Hunter’s Point in San Francisco. Located on a covered and controlled land fill – the result of a decommissioned PG&E facility – this classroom incorporates everything it means to be sustainable. Social justice combined with the most environmentally forward design and construction practices ensures success for this project.
